ExxonMobil, which operates the largest service station network in Singapore with around 70 Esso and Mobil stations, has always been the forerunner in the fuels retail industry here.
Our company was the first to introduce the mini-mart concept at service stations in 1986. The first convenience store that offered fresh food followed in 1989, and our first On The Run premier convenience store, incorporating the best practices of both Esso and Mobil, was opened in 2001.
Since August 2007, all service stations were converted to Esso brand and we continue to offer our customers both value and convenience through our Alliance partner's Fairprice Xpress and Cheers stores.
We are the only fuel retailer to offer Speedpass, a unique technology that enables motorists to fill up and drive off without having to pay in-store for the purchase.
Esso stations were also the first to provide the convenience of AXS terminals, which allow customers to pay bills and traffic fines, top up cash cards, purchase movie tickets, access the Yellow Pages and other services. Also, all Esso stations are equipped with DBS ATMs.
Our Smiles Driver Rewards loyalty programme continues to delight customers with a host of exclusive privileges, discounts and other conveniences, while our Esso fleet cards have helped many businesses improve fleet efficiency and manage operational costs.
It's innovations like these aimed at offering customers quality, more choice and greater convenience that gives us an edge over our competitors.
Besides the fuels retail business, ExxonMobil also supplies fuels and lubricants to industrial, aviation and marine customers. Our outstanding levels of customer service are supported by our refining and distribution operations.
