Singapore, 19 March 2008 – ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd would like to congratulate Mr Ng Swee Keat for being the lucky winner of the Energy Awareness Radio Quiz which ran on MediaCorp Radio Class 95 FM from 10 to 14 March 2008, from 7.30am to 9.30am daily.  Mr Ng wins S$300 worth of Esso petrol vouchers.

ExxonMobil is working to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency in their operations by using cogeneration.  Cogeneration produces electricity and steam at the same time.

ExxonMobil has about 100 cogeneration facilities around the world, including Singapore.

The company's cogeneration capacity reduces carbon dioxide by over 10.5 million tonnes per year or equivalent to taking about 2 million cars off the road.
