Examples of Job Assignments
Engineers Engineers work with operating units to maximise
profit by improving efficiencies and ensuring plants operate at desired target
levels. An integral part of the work would involve new technology development
and implementation as well as plant consulting. Additionally, engineering
assignments also cover process basis setting and process design for capital
projects as well as construction and start-up activities. Material inventory
management and service agreement negotiations are other examples of work
assignments.
ExxonMobil draws its graduates mainly from the
engineering disciplines, primarily Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil
but also includes those from Computer Science and Chemistry disciplines.
Typical job assignments range from new technology development, plant
consulting, efficiency studies and process design to ensure the plants operate
at optimal levels in the chemical plant, to exciting career opportunities in
the refineries and terminals, strategic and business planning groups, crude
oil and product scheduling and trading.

Sales & Marketing In Sales and Marketing positions,
employees are the key link between the Company and its customers. They
identify, develop, and execute sales plans and initiatives as well as
negotiate and administer contracts with customers and suppliers. Additionally,
Sales and Marketing staff cultivate and maintain customer and supplier
relationships.
ExxonMobil offers a diversity of job

Work assignments
will typically be in the areas of Sales Support; Marketing, Customer Support;

Business/Financial Analysts Business Analysts support teams

Financial
Analysts prepare financial statements, and analyze information relating to
ExxonMobil's oil, gas, transportation raw materials and products. They may

System Analysts System Analysts provide technical software
support for applications involving hardware and software platforms, systems
installations, and maintenance and enhancement activities. Responsibilities
may include customer and user support interactions, integration of
applications into the appropriate computing environment, and database and
corporate information management analysis.

Human Resource Specialists & Staff Groups Human
Resource Specialists manage the human resource functions, such as recruiting

objectives. Within the Human Resources function, graduates will be exposed to
HR activities with the key focus being to attract, select, develop, reward and

Human Resource professional.
