At ExxonMobil, our focus on developing new products with environmentally preferred characteristics has led to recent advances that span many chemical families and end uses.
Some examples include:
• Material for inner tire liners that hold air for longer. Properly inflated tires mean that vehicles run more efficiently and use less fuel, therefore also helping to reduce emissions.
• Plastic film that is stronger, but uses less material to manufacture. And so, reducing waste and energy consumption across the broad spectrum of film applications.
• Helping to comply with stringent environmental and regulatory requirements ultra-low aromatic hydrocarbon fluids introduced from our proprietary catalyst hydrogenation technology.
